History of The Master’s Christian Academy

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness”,
made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light
of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
                                    2 Corinthians 4:6

1996     Prayer and Research Begin
What began in the hearts and minds of a few people
came together and materialized through the process
of research, seeking the Lord's will, and fervent prayer
to determine the establishment of a new Christian
             school in our area.

1998     TMCA Opens
We opened with 20 students in September of 1998.
Our first location was at Cornerstone Church in
             Winchendon.

2000     First Graduating Class
The first class of 6 8th graders graduate from TMCA!

2000     Miracle on Green Street
As we grew, the need for an independent facility
became more obvious and God provided a fantastic
building that used to be a nursing home. Through the
hard work of many laborers, it was converted into what
is now The Master’s Christian Academy facility, located
             on Green Street in Gardner.

2003     Enrollment Takes Off
Years of steadily growing enrollment lead up to a jump
to 69 students in the 2002-2003 school year.

2006     Aiming at Accreditation
TMCA begins a new chapter with a board vote to seek
ACSI accreditation. TMCA enrolls in ACSI’s STAR
program and begins working towards accreditation.

2008     TMCA moves to Heritage Bible Chapel in Princeton, MA.
H.B.C. graciously allows us to move into their building, thereby
blessing us with two amenities we previously did not enjoy—a
gymnasium in which to hold recess and gym classes during cold and/or
inclement weather, and a sanctuary in which to hold our various all-
             school programs.
